Although I am not a trekker I have a great deal of respect for this actor. He was supposed to attend a convention in Toronto to meet and greet his fans who paid top dollar to see him. Unfortunatly Mr. Stewart had to have emergency heart surgery and could not attend. Instead of letting his fans down he got two of his fellow Star Trek costars to take his place, and promised he would come a few months later and do something extra special for those fans. Not many celebs would go that extra mile, and when I heard that I instantly became a new fan of his.
