If he's now an atheist why is he doing all these religious related films these days?
Maybe his detachment enables him to play the characters without self persecution or with an empty conscience.

He´s a wonderful actor!! My favourite film starring him is "The heart of me" with Helena Bonham Carter. probably my one of my favourite films of all time...

As one of the reviewers rightly commented Bettaney is very likable, <3 but more importantly, he is a wonderful actor. I love his acting. Well, he is English after all. No wonder he is good. :)

A Knights Tale has to be my favourite of his films so far. My mum was strangling my sister throughout the Da Vinci Code. She never gets scared - proves he's one of Britian's best actors (if not the best)!

Ah the naked guy. I would recommend any film Paul Bettany appears naked in. Definately worth it. And I got far too over excited by the nakedness in the Da Vinci Code. Pop corn everywhere. My sister told me to stop hyperventilating. Excellent:o)
