Paul McGillion mini-bio: The sixth of seven children, Paul's family emigrated to Canada from Scotland when he was 2 years old. Paul has a degree in Teaching and got involved in various sports including becoming a freestyle wrestling champion while studying at University. After graduating, the actor began his career teaching theatre in Toronto, squeezing in time to attend auditions. Paul has worked extensively in film, TV and the theatre for the last 12 years, as well as teaching scene study in 1998 & 1999 at the Vancouver Film School.

You are perfect for the role! Also on a personal note, I did not know that Carson had been killed off until I watched the episode and cried like a baby! I wanted to do
something that would be in the way of a tribute to Carson,

civilian doctors on US military ships who are treating for free people from other countries! It's called Project Hope

Yes, he's leaving, but there is no way a petition will help. They have already cast Jewel Staite as a new doctor (although not a main character as Paul was). They have their reasons and they are not going to change their minds. Stargate is one of the best shows for listening to their fans, but they would not make such a big change if they didnt have a good reason.
