My fave QT flix:
4. Resevoir Dogs - A mexican stand-off. Pop culture laden discussions. Casual cursing with machine gun rapidity. A mixed bag collection of songs that could only be found on a cassette that was taped by some nerd boy who collects comicbooks, works in an indie video or record store & thinks that guns are bad-ass.
All the elements that would qualify a film as being described as "Tarantinoesque".
And this is where it all started.
4. Jackie Brown - A great vehicle for Pam Grier, Deniro does an awesome job "acting out-of-character", a slicked-back Samuel Jackson is downright evil & Bridget Fonda is simply fine as hell in this flick.
IMO, the most under-rated of Tarantino's films.
2. Kill Bill - "Here comes the Bride,
all dressed in white,
dum dee dee da dum,
here comes the Bride...."
1. Pulp Fiction - "What" ain't no country I ever heard of.posted 36 days ago -

I defently agree with you koreyjw, Everyone said Death Proof sucked and was boring, but I thought it was incredable, it was incredable all around, amazing dialog, acting, style, story, camera, and even the crazy car chase at the end was awesome. Grindhouse all together was an incredable, but its too bad that it didn't do very and that people most people don't appricate great movies when they come by, its a real shame, but I guess most people in the world missed out, but its there fault so I can't feel. Also really hopin that they release Grindhouse with both movies. Long live Tarantino!

Met him today in Liverpool. He was doing a signing of the screenplay "Death Proof". Honestly I must say he is a really nice man.

I disagree with the comment about Death Proof being boring or not as good as Planet Terror. I think many people were amped up after the fast pace of Planet Terror and were not expecting to sit though a bunch of dialog. All of Tarantino's movies have extended dialog scenes. I thought they worked and made me care more for the characters and made the pay off at the end that much better. But hey, that's just my opinion.

If a movie....so much as involves him.....it's likely the best of the year. 3 fave directors: Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez, and Brian DePalma.

reservoir dogs, and pulp fiction are top notch. those movies really show his true style, and in my opinion are the only movies you need to watch to appreciate his genius.
