• Name: Ricardo Montalban
  • Date of Birth: November 25, 1920
  • Place of Birth: Mexico City, Mexico
Mini-bio: Suave, romantic leading man who successfully combined an easy, relaxed
warmth with virile charisma and genuine acting talent. After a five-year

at MGM in smooth Latin Lover roles or as swimming star Esther Williams
co-star in musicals. He enjoyed one of the finest parts of his career in
William Wellman's excellent WWII drama, "Battleground" (1949). Montalban did
attempt a few other ambitious dramatic characterizations in which his
character's Hispanic ethnicity played a part in the drama, but neither his
embittered boxer in "Right Cross" (1950) nor his victimized fruit picker in
"My Man and I" (1952) were enmeshed in dramas worthy of the actor's
efforts.

talk about ignored!!!! a far greater talent than he was ever given credit for this guy has to be seen to be believed, and i'm not talking "fantasy island" or "fine, corinthian leather". it's a dirty, lowdown shame the way some talents are forgotten. in a hollywood movie...well, by the end of the film the whole theater would stand up and applaud, stand up and cheer...
