I have in the last 50 decades, seen plenty of movies, and 'stars' come and go. Richard Widmark came and never left, but he did leave a legacy of wonderful and memorable parts which he played to near perfection. He was one of the very very best and shall be missed. I always look for B&W movies on t.v. and often decide that they are better in most ways than today's pictures. ddb
