Robert Gregory Bourdon was born in Calabasas, California on 20 January 1979. He played in the band Relative Degree with future Linkin Park bandmate Brad Delson while in high school in Agoura Hills, CA. He started playing the drums at age 10. He sometimes wears Puma racecar driving shoes in order to get a better feel for the drum pedals. He also plays the piano. Rob is the youngest band member in Linkin Park.His previous job was a waiter. Worked in the bowling alley Corbin Bowl. Went to go see Aerosmith concert with his mom who knew Joey Kramer the drummer for Aerosmith and became inspired to be a drummer himself. Rob enjoys surfing in his spare time. He likes mexican and italian food.
