OK, how many of you remember Bob as "The Cowboy" in "Innerspace"? That was a HILARIOUS role for him. In the commentary on the DVD, he said he still has the wig, and was considering selling it.

Robert Picardo Biography:
Yale alumnus Robert Picardo made his off-Broadway debut in David Mamet's one-act play Sexual Perversity in Chicago. That was in 1975; two years later, Picardo was first seen on Broadway in Gemini. He launched his TV career in the 1980 miniseries The Dream Merchants, and in 1981 made his first film, The Howling--one of several assignments for director Joe Dante. During his early TV years, he was all too often cast in "first husband" or "wrong boyfriend" supporting roles. Things improved in 1986, when he was hired to play the much-feared high school gym teacher Coach Cutlip in the weekly dramedy The Wonder Years. He went on to co-star as Dr. Dick Richard in the highly acclaimed Vietnam-era series China Beach (1989-91). A busy voiceover artist, Picardo has supplied a variety of vocal characterizations for such series as Dinosaurs and Batman. Undoubtedly you'll be reading even more about Robert Picardo in the future, by virtue of his being cast as the holographic Doc Zimmerman on TV's Star Trek: Voyager(1995- ).posted 307 days ago -
Robert Picardo is my favorate actor of all time. He has inspired me to do things that I've never thought humanly possible. He was the perfect guy for the EMH on Star Trek: Voyager. I couldn't think of another person who could do the job. I thought he was hilarious! I did a power point for a school project, and I included the video clip where he was imagining that everyone loved him, and he sedated Tuvok (Tim Russ) as he was singing to opera in his own lyrics! The class loved it!
All in all, he's a great guy whom I'd love to meet, someday.posted 430 days ago -

Robert is not only fantastic in Voyager, but also AWESOME in STARGATE SG-1. He is a great guy, and very friendly to fans, he even has his own myspace page where he posts things himself, leaves fun comments, and even makes video clips to reply to everyone. Robert Picardo is a great and friendly person, and a great asset to the cast of any show, including STARGATE. We are happy to have him on the cast.
