Roscoe "Rocky" Carroll was born on 8th July 1963 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Rocky attended the School for the Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) in Cincinnati.

Rocky's first movie role was in "Born on the 4th of July".

Rocky is best known for his roles in television, most notably in "Chicago Hope" as Dr Keith Wilkes and lately as Director Leon Vance in "NCIS". In both series he co-stars with Mark Harmon.

Rocky currently contributes a weekly blog on the TV Guide website.
