Anyone thinking that the whole concept of Mr. Bean is original, think again. Check out the works of Jacques Tati and perhaps in particular the films Monsieur Hulots' holiday, Jour de Fete, Mon Oncle and Trafic... Atkinson has been ripping Tati off for too long... Ok, there's being influenced which is fine so long as you admit to it in public or interview and then there is plain old rip-off and plagiarism of which Atkinson has been poncing off for most of his career. I just wish he would own up and admit that he has little talent of his own. I always wondered how long it would be before he ripped Monsieur Hulots holiday. Wish I placed a bet down at Ladbrookes now... Still, I hope the film does well, if only for Tati's work to be properly recognised by the public at large that sadly look no further than the end of their noses for talent anyhow....

I can't wait for bean 2 to come out!!!
