Sandra BullockSandra Bullock biography: Sandra Annette Bullock was born on July 26, 1954 in Arlington, Virginia. Her mother, Helga Bullock (d. April 4, 2000) was a German Opera Singer and voice teacher. She studied ballet when she was a child.

Sandra graduated from Washington-Lee HS in Arlington, VA in 1982 and
was a cheerleader during high school. She attended East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. Upon leaving college, Sandra moved to New York where she became a waitress.

While Sandra has starred in many films beginning with 1987's "Hangmen", it wasn't until her role in the 1994 film "Speed" as Annie Porter that Sandra was noticed. She went on to make other popular films such as" The Net, Hope Floats, 28 Days, Miss Congeniality, Miss Congeniality 2." She also had a part in the 2004 film "Crash" which had many popular actors in it's cast! Sandra played Jean Cabot, wife to Brendan Frasier's character, Rick Cabot.

In her personal life, after a few failed relationships, Sandra seems to have found true love with "Monster Garage" host, Jesse James. They married in a sunset ceremony outside of Santa Barbara, California on July 16, 2005. Sandra is step-mother to Jesse's three children: Chandler, Jesse, Jr. and Sunny.

Sandra Bullock quote:

"I've always been very sceptical about marriage, because I only want to do it once; I want to do it the right way."

"I've learned that success comes in a very prickly package. Whether you choose to accept it or not is up to you. It's what you choose to do with it, the people you choose to surround yourself with. Always choose people that are better than you. Always choose people that challenge you and are smarter than you. Always be the student. Once you find yourself to be the teacher, you've lost it."
