Simone wrote, put together and acted in a weekly children's show for a
Columbia television station. Griffeth appeared in a TV commercial at age
fifteen. She made her film debut with a charming performance as the
titular sweet innocent country lass in the enjoyable redneck exploitation
item "Swamp Girl." She was likewise well cast as another naive hillbilly
gal in the sordid "Sixteen" and was excellent as David Carradine's
enticing co-driver Annie Smith in Paul Bartel's wickedly funny sci-fi
black comedy cult classic "Death Race 2000." Simone was at her sexiest as
the bored wife of a neglectful millionaire in "Hot Target" and was once
again solid in the entertaining Crown International action opus "The
Patriot." Among the many TV shows Griffeth has done guest spots on are
"Silk Stockings," "The Golden Girls," "Magnum, P.I.," "Rip Tide," "T.J.
Hooker," "The Dukes of Hazzard," "The Greatest American Hero," "Three's
Company," "Hawaii Five-O," "The Incredible Hulk," "Starsky and Hutch,"
and "The Six Million Dollar Man." Simone Griffeth now teaches acting and
works along with her husband Wayne McDonald as a real estate agent for
high-end Low Country properties in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
