Sunil Shetty started as a bad actor but great action hero in Bollywood. He is one of the pioneers of martial arts in Bollywood. He was a wooden actor with a wooden face in the start but then Sunil too started to emote. He showed good comedic skills in Gopi Kishan. He started moving up the ladder in acting skills and showed good acting in movies like Hu Tu Tu & Border. He was also nominated for a filmfare Award 4 his performance in Border.

He again gave a good performance in Dharmesh Darshan directed Dharkan and even won a filmfare award for it. THen in the year 2000 he came back with a powerhouse comic performance in Hera Pheri. At this time Sunil started giving favors to his friends due to this he transformed from a lead actor to a supporting actor.

Even now he gives a good performance in all kinds of roles(Xcept romantic roles).

He also became a good dancer from his movie Rakshak and changed his wooden face to a stylish one from Kaante to onwards...
