Loved Last Life in the Universe a random movie I watched, I just learned he's has several movie that I know are highy praised....I plan to watch more of his movies. I saw Vital, I didn't enjoy it as much as LLitU but I want to see more of talents, I want to see Invisible Waves, Bright Future and some other movies of his..Funny I've seen that dvd cover or heard of the movie Ichi the Killer but didn't realize that was him on the cover, well he has blond hair, definitely a must see movie.....it seems

First of all Asano's a great charismatic actor and secondly why compare him to Johnny Depp or anyone else? Johnny is Johnny and vice versa. They're both great actors and shouldn't be compared to eachother.

Critics are right when they call Asano the Johnny Depp of Japan. He is a very skilled and natural actor, who can play the most eccentric and bizarre characters and not make them goofy or awkward.

Not to mention he is very handsome. :)
