...( read more)d Nick Moran in Spivs; and co-starring with Frank Harper and Danny Dyer in the much acclaimed 'John King' novel, The Football Factory. Most recently, he has accepted an offer to Star in Ska Films' new film 'Layer Cake', being directed by Matthew Vaughn.
Tamer met his agent three years ago, after informing her that, "Acting is for mugs". Known for his perseverance and hard work, he has graced our TV screens starring in Eastenders, Casualty, The Bill and Judge John Deed.
Tamer grew up on "the wrong side of town" in New Cross, and practiced his street wise skills in boxing and football. Injured in boxing, he turned his talents to running nightclubs, restaurants and is now the proud Owner, Chairman, Coach and Player of both Greenwich Borough Football Club and also Eltham Boxing Gym.
Tamer's charity work for his community is what makes him turn from the 6ft 4 tough guy, to absolute putty in the hundreds of children's hands he deals with on a daily basis.
