| Taylor Kitsch Biography |
Taylor Kitsch who's best known as Tim Riggins in the critically acclaimed NBC show Friday Night Lights; & quite possibly as 'Gambit' in The X-men Origins- Wolverine film, was Born in Kelowna,B.C. Canada. He was born on April 8 1981 & raised in Vancouver. Kitsch has 2 Older Bros (in their 30s I think) & 2 younger 1/2 sisters (teens?).
Taylor Used to play hockey in the (Canadian) BCHL for the Langley Hornets & was being looked at by the NHL before a career ending knee injury when he was 20!
He moved to NY in 2002 , signed w/ IMG modeling agency
and became a regular face for the famous clothing lines, Abercrombie & Fitch and also Diesel. While Taylor was living in New York, he found time to become a certified personal trainer and nutritionist.
What shot him to bigger fame was his role in the movie The Covenant, with actors Steven Strait, Toby Hemingway and Chace Crawford (now playing Nate Archibald on the CW show Gossip Girl) who were all already successful. In The Covenant, fans got to know who Taylor really is. Taylor became more recognized since acting in the movie. In the movie, fans also got to see a more fit and toned version of Taylor in a speedo.
