Thomas Alexander Dekker (born December 28, 1987) is an American film and flixster.actor.pane.770670302 - flixster

television actor and a musician. He is also a singer and has written and produced two albums. He is best known for his roles as John Connor in The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Zach on Heroes. He also did the voice of Littlefoot in The Land Before Time V-IX (singing voice in The Land Before Time V).

Upcoming projects include:

From within, a thriller filmed in 2007 which is slated for a 2009 general release.
Laid to rest which also stars Lena Heady (who also plays his mother in Terminator : The Sarah Connor Chronicles).
My Sister's Keeper, a drama in which he stars along side Cameron Diaz, Alec Baldwin, Abigail Breslin and Medium star Sofia Vassilieva. Filming has completed and the film is sscheduled to be released on June 26, 2009.

The whole controversy regarding Zack's sexuality on Heroes will probably never be solved. Initially his character was intended to be gay, as announced before the shows debut. Later Dekker's management and the producers of the show confirmed that future storylines would involve Zack and Claire being an item. Unfortunetly Dekker left the show as he landed the role of John Connor in the upcoming TV Series The Sarah Connor Chronicles (which takes place between Terminator 2 and 3). Although episodes of Heroes hinted that Zack is gay, the big resolution has yet to be determined. Depending how the Claire storyline plays out and if Dekker's new show flops causing him to return to Heroes, we may never know. Until then I think his character is gay and I think it adds a nice balance to the cast of the show.
