I love Tom Hanks movies. I have loved him as an actor since Bosom Buddies. As an Oakland, California girl I have always claimed him because he was born in California and went to school in Oakland. I look forward to everything he does.

I could not be more disappointed in Tom Hanks right now. He does have the right to his opinion BUT to call someone else un American because we have the right to ours? My Mormon family serves in the military. My Mormon family used to love going to Tom Hanks films. He just had to show how his ignorance and open his mouth with out a script.
Move back to California where you belong and stay out of Idaho. We are much happier with more open minded people here.

I have been a Tom Hanks fan for years. But when I found out he is backing Al Franken in the Minnesota Senate race, I lost all respect for him. I will never go to another Tom Hanks movie.

I think that his best movies are probably Saving Private Ryan, Cast Away and Forest Gump.
He is such a talented actor.

Ive not quite seen anyone who measures up to Tom Hanks in the way of dramatic acting. This is a guy who knows exactly what he is doing on screen and is so at ease with it, it almost seems second nature, which only adds to his characters beleivability. If i can ever been even half as successful as he is, then ill be completely stoked.

Every movie is great, keep them coming! You have to go back on the 'Fridy Night With Jonathan Ross', it was hilarious! If your from England you should know what I'm talking about, Jonathan is the funniest and best talk show host ever. He get's the best out of everybody, and all the best go on there including Tom, Will Smith, Forest Whitaker etc. It's great. But back to Tom, one of the best actors!
