Biography: Born in Whitewater, Wisconsin he was raised in Plymouth, Michigan. He wanted to be a singer as a small child, but switched to acting when his voice changed. He has had many partial roles in movies s...( read more )uch as, Animal House and Fearless, but his biggest role was for his part of Mozart in Amadeus. He was nominated for an oscar, but unfortunatly did not receive it.

  I love his singing in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, which is one of my favorite movies. He was terrific in the role of Wolfgang Amadeus as well. A very underated actor.

  I was really amazed by the way he so articulately put the character of wolfgang amadeus mozart. he gave the performance of his life! sooo good... just sad to hear he isn't in hollywood much... but still, one can't deny that he has got the talent.
