Tristan Wilds mini-bio: Tristan Wilds (born Tristan Paul Mack Wilds on July 15, 1989 in Staten Island, New York) actor currently starring on the HBO original series The Wire as Michael Lee. Tristan started acting at age seven; however, it was not until 2003 that he began acting professionally. He was first seen in the mini-series Miracle's Boys on The N (alongside Julito McCullum), playing A.J.
After the show ended, he completed a workshop of Wool for The Roundabout Theatre Company, where he worked with Phylicia Rashad (The Cosby Show), playing the role of Brice in a workshop of Stockholm Brooklyn for the Cherry Lane Theatre. Tristan has recently been seen playing opposite of Ryan Gosling in the movie Half Nelson at the Sundance Film Festival.
Tristan Wilds attended Micheal J. Petrides High School in Staten Island, New York. He can be seen in Jay Z's newest video Roc Boys off the American Gangster album billed as "the nephew". Tristan also appeared in Lil Flip's music video "Ghetto Mindstate". Making a surprise appearance on 106 & Park; he revealed the fifth season of The Wire, returning January of 2008. He will also be appearing in Jay-Z's I Will Not Lose Spring Campaign.
