WILL FERRELL

Born July 16, 1967, Will Ferrell got his start on Saturday Night Live. He then branched out into film, initially starring with fellow SNL castmates in A Night at the Roxbury and Superstar. Will left SNL and has branched out into several popular movies, including Zoolander, Talladega Nights, Elf, and Stranger Than Fiction.

John William Ferrell was born and raised in Irvine, California. His parents are Kay Overman and Lee Ferrell. Will is of Irish ancestry (of no relation to fellow actor Colin Ferrell either). Will studied Sports Broadcasting at the University of Southern California, and graduated with a degree in Sports Information. He is also a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity.

After graduating University, Will developed his Improv skills and joined a comedy group. He joined the SNL cast in 2002 and left 7 years later.

Will is founder of the website "Funny or Die", which is a website that streams videos of short comedy films and sketches uploaded and voted on by users. Many of the videos featured are by other celebrities. Arguably the most popular video on the website is "The Landlord" which features the then two-year old daughter of the website's co-founder Andy McKay. Will and Andy are both featured in the film, in which Pearl (his daughter) plays the swearing, beer-loving landlady, harrassing Will to "pay the rent".

Will is married to Swedish actress Viveca Paulin, and they have two sons together named Magnus and Matthius Paulin Ferrell.

will i ike your movies a lot but i would have to say that you performances with your more serious roles were much better i really liked Elf and Stranger Than Fiction i would really like to see you in more serious roles because i think you are a pretty tallented actor and that you would do well with serious roles as you have in your comedy films
