Ok, I was mistaken on the Oscar thing, Too bad. It seems that Race and Racism always plays a part in these social events. Benicio Del Toro was also snubbed and he won a "Goya" (Spanish equivalent to the Oscar) Award for his performance in the The Argentine. The movie wasn't even mentioned, and it is far better than most of the ones that are nominated. Sad....

This movie was highly criticized because it was too much of a kiddie movie. But all of the best movies in history are kiddie movies. Star Wars, Pirates of the Carribean, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, etc., etc., You critics need to go back to school or something. This was a home run, heck, a grand slam, and I guarantee it will be an Oscar Contender 2009!!! Only thing that could have benn better would have been to have Lucy Liu in the film as well. Too bad! Heck, even Michelle from the James Bond Film would have been great in this one!

She is so beautiful and promising. I think that in the near future, Liu Yi Fei will become one of the hottest Asian Stars in Hollywood! Go girl!!
