Hello all this is jrfoldes and I'm Flixster's official Zac Efron expert (I'm also the official expert for Nicolas Cage, Harrison Ford, Shia Labeouf, Matt Prokop and family friend Corey Gorewicz) and I have said title because I have insider connections to Zac. Believe me when I say he won't respond, he won't add you (not that he could), and has no control of this page (that would be me to a certain extent). Anyone claiming to be him is an imposter. Also feel free to add to the wiki, but note I do edit it, and will remove things that are opinionated (i.e. don't write "He's Hot" in the bio etc shut up if you dont think hes hot... who is loser). BTW they are looking for one more Zac Efron expert so I suggest applying. If there are any questions concerns feel free to message me. Born in San Luis Obispo, California, and raised close by in Arroyo Grande, Zac Efron took his first step toward acting at the age of 11 when his parents took note of his singing ability. Singing lessons soon led to an appearance in the production of "Gypsy" which ran 90 performances, and he was hooked. After appearing on stage in "Peter Pan," "Mame," "Little Shop of Horrors" and "The Music Man," guest parts quickly followed on television series, including "Firefly," "ER" and "The Guardian." After guest-starring in several episodes of "Summerland," he joined the regular cast as girl-crazy Cameron Bale. Efron also starred in several pilots such as "The Big, Wide World of Carl Laemke" and "Triple Play." He recently starred as an autistic child in the television movie "Miracle Run," alongside Mary-Louise Parker and Aidan Quinn, in the Disney Channel Original Movie "High School Musical", and guest starred on the hit Disney Channel show "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody". Zac graduated high school in June 2006 and attending his graduation in his hometown with his classmates. His favorite sports include golf, skiing, rock climbing and snowboarding. He recently added surfing after spending days on the beach for "Summerland." He plays the piano at home, and is currently teaching himself to play the guitar. He's also currently fixing up two cars in his spare time, a Delorean and '65 Mustang convertible, both treasured hand-me-downs from his even-more-treasured grandfather. Efron lives at home with his parents and his younger brother Dylan. They have two highly affectionate Australian Shepherds, Dreamer and Puppy, and a very independent Siamese cat named Simon. he reprised his role as Troy Bolton in the two hit "High School Musical" sequels, Sang and danced as Link Larkin in "Hairspray", landed a starring role in "Me and Orson Welles" and also in the movie "17 again".
