She has acted in all seven seasons of NBC's "The West Wing" (1999) in the recurring role of "Mallory O'Brien" and, in May 2004, will be seen in the CBS miniseries Helter Skelter (2004) (TV), in which she portrays real-life Charles Manson murderess Patricia Krenwinkel. She has starred in several television series: CBS's "Buddy Faro" (1998), ABC's "Spy Game" (1997) and CBS's "Kate & Allie" (1984) (for six seasons) and has played the lead in the independent features "At First Sight" and "A Reason To Believe" and supporting roles in such features as "Holes", "How To Make An American Quilt" and "Switchback". Her theater work includes starring in the LA premiere production of David Mamet's "Oleanna" and in "QED" opposite Alan Alda at the Mark Taper Forum and working with Randy Newman on his musical "The Education of Randy Newman" at South Coast Rep, for which her vocal performance got rave reviews.
