Korvin was blessed with dazzling handsomeness and deep-set eyes, so it isn't surprising that Hollywood hoped to turn him into a romantic lead. Many of his films were of the programmer variety, notably The Killer That Stalked New York (1950) and Sangaree (1953), and most of these films exploited his exotic accent by casting Korvin as charming rogues. Despite his many movie appearances, Korvin's best-remembered role was a lengthy uncredited appearance as a sexy mambo instructor on the 1956 Honeymooners TV episode "Mama Loves Mambo."
