Dick Cathcart

Bio: Jazz trumpeter Dick Cathcart was a close friend of actor/producer Jack Webb and played music on Webb's radio and television series Dragnet. He made his film debut as an actor in Webb's first film version of the popular police drama in 1954. He then played a cornetist in Webb's Pete Kelly's Blues (1955).
