Bio: Screenwriter Edwin Harvey Blum scripted a number of major features, including Stalag 17 (1953) for which he earned his only Oscar nomination. Other Blum films include The New Adventures of Tarzan (1935), the Basil Rathbone starrer The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1939), and The Bamboo Prison (1955).
