Bio: Idressa Ouedraogo's earliest memories of film revolved around the traveling cinemas that would tour the villages of his native West Africa. Born in the Upper Volta (now Burkina Faso), Ouedraogo would later study film in his native country, as well as in Paris and Kiev.
