A New York native who got his start as a journalist for The New York Times, Brodsky would soon turn to work as a publicist for the Big Apple branch of FOX before taking over as head of marketing and PR a decade later. Pictures Brodsky helped to publicize include Funny Girl (1968) and Cleopatra (1963), an experience that eventually resulted in his publishing of the book The Cleopatra Papers.
