Bio: Jason Dolley's ambitions to become an actor began while performing the Abbott & Costello routine "Who's On First" with his brother in a school talent show. Since then, Jason has dived into Hollywood with a big splash! At age 11, Jason's film debut was the lead role in the award-winning short film "Chasing Daylight", directed by Jeff Stephenson. Jason's performance garnered him a nomination for a Young Artist Award for "Best Performance in a Short Film". However, Jason's big break came in 2004, when he landed a series regular role in Mel Gibson's ABC comedy series "Complete Savages" as T.J. Savage, the youngest of the five brothers. For his performance in that role, he won a Young Artist Award for "Best Performance in a TV Series" in 2005.Dolley is currently starring as Virgil Fox in the newest Disney Channel original movie "Minutemen." Jason can also be seen starring as Newt Livingston in Disney Channel's original series "Cory in the House." During the 2006-07 pilot season, Jason was cast in the ABC/Touchstone drama pilot "Enemies," during which he worked with famed director F. Gary Gray ("Be Cool," "The Italian Job"), and written and produced by Sean Bailey ("Matchstick Men"). He also starred as Conner Kennedy in the popular Disney Channel original movie "Read It and Weep."Jason has also had success on the big screen with a starring role in Warner Bros. feature film "Saving Shiloh" as Marty Preston. In addition, Dolley has a supporting role in ThinkFilm's crime-drama feature "The Air I Breathe" starring Andy Garcia, Kevin Bacon, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Forest Whitaker, Brendan Fraser and Emile Hirsch. Jason plays the younger version of Fraser's character.An excellent student, Jason maintains a consistent 4.0 grade point average. He was chosen to represent his school in several academic competitions including Spelling Bees, Math Olympics and Speech Meets. He enjoys paintball games, playing poker with his friends, hacky-sack and mastering yo-yo tricks. Born July 5, 1991, Jason resides in Los Angeles with his family.
