Bio: Jonathan never intended on becoming an actor but he was spotted in a high school production of The Wizard of Oz by casting director Diane Polley. Needless to say, he won both roles, but it is the role of Gilbert Blythe that won him recognition and is the role for which he is best loved.Jonathan graduated from University of Toronto's Victoria College in 1995. His numerous performances at the prestigious Stratford Festival Theatre are a given. His performance in the role of Valentine Coverly at the Canadian Stage Company's Arcadia earned Crombie a 1997 Dora Mavor Moore Award nomination for Outstanding Performance, a well deserved award.
