Joseph Ruttenberg

Bio: Russian-born cinematographer Joseph Ruttenberg emigrated to the U.S. as a child. Before entering films as a newsreel photographer in the early 1910s, Ruttenberg learned the whys and wherefores of the still camera as a photojournalist.
