She co-starred with Emily Perkins in Ginger Snaps (2000). The movie was followed by Ginger Snaps 2: Unleashed (2004) and Ginger Snaps Back (2004). In (2002), she played Tina Blake in the Carrie (television movie).Katharine and the five years older Emily went to the same school and were born in the same hospital.
