Married for a time to director David Lean, Walsh appeared in Lean's In Which We Serve (1942) as Freda Lewis, This Happy Breed (1944) as Queenie Gibbons, The October Man (1947) as Molly, and Oliver Twist (1948) as Nancy Sykes.
