Around the age of 19, he launched his singing career when he released his first Mandarin single "Don't Be A Fool", and then his first Mandarin album I LOVe YOU.Eventually, he ventured into the movie industry after releasing his last compilation album People Says in 2000. His debut movie Merry Go Round had him nominated as Best New Artist in the 21st Annual Hong Kong Film Awards. Since his debut in the movie industry from 2001 to now, he has appeared in Asian movies like The Eye, If u care..., Truth or Dare: 6th Floor Rear Flat, The Death Curse, and Dragon Squad.
