She got into acting without really knowing what it was...She got an agent, got headshots, then started getting commercials and small roles in shows like Jeremiah, Cold Squad, and Butterfly Effect. She hopped around like that for a while then landed 2 solid roles, one in RenegadePress.com, and one in Kyle XY.

She is best known for her ongoing role as Andy Jensen on the TV series Kyle XY.

Apanowicz studied at Vancouver Film School.
