His first television role was in the long running British television series Grange Hill.In December 2006 he appeared as the crazed assassin Mr. Teatime, in Sky One's adaptation of Hogfather by Terry Pratchett. The same month he played Count Dracula in a new adaptation of Bram Stoker's classic novel, produced by ITV Productions for BBC Wales. In 2007 he will appear as casino-operating villain Tony Crane in the second series of BBC drama Life on Mars.Warren can also be heard on numerous television and radio adverts throughout the UK. Contrary to popular belief, Warren does not provide the voice for the animated gecko in the Geico insurance company commercials, which is in fact voiced by British actor Jake Wood.
