A witty director of short episodes for such memorable 1960s anthology films as I Tre Volti and Le Streghe (aka The Witches), Bolognini's later feature work includes Mademoiselle De Maupin and Fatti Di Gente Per Bene (aka La Grande Bourgeoise).
