Bio: Maxine Elliott Hicks started her acting career at the age of five in Denver, later moving to New York to perform. Her family was convinced to move to Los Angeles and they did just that. She proceeded to perform in over 200 silent films, as well as a handful of the new "talkies" in the 1930s.
