As busy on British television as he was elsewhere, Michael Aldridge starred or co-starred in such series as The Man in Room 17 (1965-1966), Love for Lydia (1977), Charlie (1984), Charters and Caldicott (1985), and Last of the Summer Wine (1985-1989); he also appeared as the C.S.
