Bio: Paul Weston was a prominent musical arranger and director for over 40 years. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, he started out in 1934 arranging for Joe Haymes orchestra. When Haymes turned his band over to Tommy Dorsey, Weston remained with the band and was responsible for arranging songs like "Song of India," "Night and Day." Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, he started out in 1934 arranging for Joe Haymes orchestra. When Haymes turned his band over to Tommy Dorsey, Weston remained with the band and was responsible for arranging songs like "Song of India," "Night and Day." Weston went free-lance in the early '40s. He arranged the music for Holiday Inn in 1942 and then went on to work for two record companies before becoming the musical director for NBC TV in the late '50s.
