She also appearsin the Films Gypo and Angelas Ashes and in other television programmes including therecently sucessful Jam and Jerusalem. As well as her acting career she has alsoestablished herself in the literary world with popular books that include 'The Womenon the bus' and 'Something for the weekend'. She is also an active member of severaltheatre companies and is a patron to the charity 'World Vision' She is married tothe producer and Agent Richard Cook.
