In subsequent years, Rist landed occasional roles in features with a marked emphasis on action, fantasy, and children's entertainment. Projects included Iron Eagle (1985), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie (1990) and its two sequels (where he voiced one of the turtles), and the animated adventure Balto (1996). Meanwhile, on the side, Rist remained extremely active as a musician and music producer, and played in numerous "indie" bands. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi
