Rosette developed and sustained particularly strong ties to the cinema of New Wave pioneer Eric Rohmer, whose films shared some of the same qualities with which Rosette came to be associated; together, they worked on features including the 1983 Pauline at the Beach, the 1986 Le Rayon Vert, and the 1992 A Tale of Winter. In 2008, Rosette signed on for a supporting role in the director's lyrical romantic saga Les Amours d'Astrée et Céladon.
