Friedle was born and raised in Hartford, Connecticutwith his two older brothers, mother, and father. When he was 17 years oldhe moved to California to start working on ABC's Boy Meets World where heplayed Eric Matthews from the time the show started in 1993 to the time itended in 2000. During the time he worked on Boy Meets World, he started afew other roles, such as Terry McGinnis in Batman Beyond and Griffelkin inthe Disney Movie H-E-Double Hockey Sticks. His best friend is"Step-by-Step" star Jason Marsden and was Marsden's best man at hiswedding.
