Absolutely awesome, and the forums are included in that.
This is really a great site here. And the only two
quirks I had you just fixed, you in the mind-readin'
business? Thanks a bunch, keep up the good work? Im
sure you will so I dont know why I said that but hey
whatever :)
Hi. Just noticed that you've instituted a
10-point ratings system in flixster. Although
it's probably too late, I think a 9-point scale
(1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5) would work
better. The problem with 10 point scales is
that the average rating is a 5.5, a rating
cannot be given. Similarly, in your system the
average rating is 2.75. I can't give a movie
this rating. If you just eliminate the "0.5"
rating it would probably work a lot better
(besides, a 0.5 rating is pretty silly as the
lowest possible rating; if you're going to
allow that you shoudl allow zero)
Now this is the feature we needed, Saran if you
read this - you are a champion. I've already
started re-rating a lot of my movies and can
finally give Batman and Robin half-a-star! That
was a long time coming.
ha, no problem shortcartoonist. surprised it took us
this long to get around it. who was batman in that one?
the first one really was so much better than all the
others.

You'll want me for trivia.
George Clooney was the unfortunate miscast for
that one. Joel Schumacher was an idiot to think
he'd be right for that role. Kilmer was stale
in Batman Forever, but Clooney was outright
horrible.
And the first is the best, followed very
closely by the Nolan masterpiece, Batman
Begins. Jack Nicholson is just so awesome as
the Joker.
Just saw this item on the forum. Was rating a film, clocked the half mark option and was thinking I was stupid for not noticing it earlier.. feel much better knowning it's relatively new! Thanks - it's very useful.
hehe, yeh, me too.
thought i was going mad- it useful cos i some films aren't 4 or 5 and 4.5 is perfect. So rock on.
oh, yeh, please can we have a 0 stars so can absolutely make it clear that the film is awful- or a "couldn't sit through it all" or such like?
Hey Joe,
Ever since you introduced the half-star ratings feature, i've wanted to go through some of my existing rating and fix them; however, this is taking me way too long to go through them and i was wondering if there's any chance of making it easier to re-rate your movies when you "view all ratings"? Just curious. Thanks.
