The movie was "based" on true events...
There was a book written about this story aswell that I
read and it had many true facts in it...And it was closer
to the truth...
There are also newspaper articles documenting the
killings and strange events as they happened back in the
70s...
Something very strange happened in that house and I do
believe it's true...Maybe not everything in the movie,
but definitely most of what's in the book!
Do you honestly think that blood actually came out of the
walls, hell is in a basement, and the house told a priest
to get out. I believe that there were murders. But the
rest is just stupid.
I think there were murders but I don't believe there was a demon dog in the window, hell is in a basement, blood comes out the walls or that they had a blood swimming pool in the basement. Also all the stuff with the priest and the flies and the cracked face of the angel is all untrue.
maybe the murdery bits true but c'mon. how many true story movies are the whole truth? not many, plus this film sucked majorly i fell asleep after the hole in the babysitters head

Who's to say they didn't hallucinate it on account of being posessed?
No one can ever really understand what it's like to be posessed unless it's happened to them...

It is true that is a true story it's a true story today it's gonna be a true story tommorrow and it's never gonna stop being true. They ended up selling that house somebody actually bought that house and moved it to a whole nother loction after the lutz's moved out and never returned not even to pick up their things.

actually, there was a thing done on that house, like after the ludtz's moved out, because everyone kept moving out, so they decided to test it and they found nothing in the house, but the murders really happened and all that, or maby the ghost just didn't want to be found that time? theres a book on it down at the library, but i didn't get to finish reading it!!! i had to go catch my bus!! hahaha
i think that its true but the real story was based on pigs if i am correct?(read one of the many books and thats what it was about) so that would be really hard to believe but i love scary movies even though their not scary... i liked the new movie and i do believe that the story would be true if it had to do with human beings being ghost, or spirits...
i sapose u could say some points were tru.but hollywood will always boost it up with SFX.
ghost stories will always make u think it doesnt matter what there called.there are so many of them.
it all comes down to were do we go once we die.do u believe in a afterlife and if u were dead would u stay on earth and cause havok?
When I was playing college baseball we lived in a town about 15 minutes from there. A guy on the team was born and raised down the street from there and his parents were acquaintances of that family. Let's just say some strange things happend that were nowhere near what the film made them out to be... really exaggerated
