When I was like 9, my uncle showed me and my brother a tape of the excorcist, i dunno even know what he would show us, but I was so scared, i didnt sleep for days! My mom was so pissed at him!
Mine was Scream :S Not that scary really, but to me at 4 it was!!! Especially because he had a mask, I hate it when you can't see a scary persons face! ha! But has anyone seen Silent Hill yet? It is soooo sick!! In both ways,
Sick: I wanted to hurl!
Sick: In ways, it's good.

I had the exact same experience, except as soon as my mom realized the graphic nature of the movie she turned it off, but I saw enough for it to scare the living shit out of me.
I'm not quite sure what my first horror movie was but it was between "Scream", "The Glass House" or "The Others". Right after I saw my first one I got addicted and have loved then ever since.
I think i was 10 and i seen Signs-lol im not even sure if its a horror but the alien freaked me out-I also seen Freddy and i was 12 it freaked the crap out of me!.....
Doubt this was the first horror i saw but seeing IT as a younger kid was damn terrifying. Cant remember which responsible family member let me watch that.. but cheers to them. Now i cant stand clowns!
The first horror movie i ever saw was a freddy movie and i was no more then 7 or 8 aznd i was with my babysitter and then he dressed up in a grim reaper costume and scared the living shit outta me....THANKS scott and not only that ....but afterward my dad would come into my room at night and sing the freddy song....im forever tramatized (but scary movies are my favorites)
i was i think 7 and i saw scream bloody murder if that can really be called a horror it was more suspence so really the first one was darkness falls.that scared me for a while but meh
I remembered being horrified by An American Werewof in London when I saw it for the first time at the tender age of 10. The first attack of the werewof at night when the two main characters stray off the path was a real shocker for me! Also, the Shining scared the hell out of me with its long steadicam shots of long corridors, the twins, and the creepy music. And I may catch shit for this, but the recent Exorcism of Emily Rose made the hairs on the back of my neck stand straight up in certain parts!
ive grown up on horror films, i remember the baby sitter always coming round and we would watch a horror, she was never too sure if we were actually allowed, i would guess my first horror would be carrie, not scary but still good
i was around the age of 3 or 4 an my sister decided to have some fun and scare the shit owta me by letting watch Chucky movies an Freddy Krugar(sp??)of course since i was so young it scarred me 4 lyf, it may be pathetic (since they are a mockery to horrors 4 me now) but i still luv horrors, now i'm the one hu lyks to "scare the shit" owta ppl, esspecially my m8 nats, hehe.
