If you want, Flixster can now automatically add your recent rating widget to the movies section of your MySpace profile. We can also post a bulletin for you to invite your MySpace friends to come take the MCT...
Which brings up an important question: obviously flixster isn't the only place you hang out online - so we want to make it as easy as possible to share what you do here wherever else you go.
So what other social network-y kinds of sites do people use most?
Awesome work on the Facebook wigdet! The only problem so far is that the 'Movies Adam Wants To See' box doesn't work. But this is a fantastic addition.

VampireFreaks will accept the Flixster widgets with no problem. Just add the html to your profile there.
I have also added the movie list code to my UHMN (The Underground Horror Movie Network) profile with no problem (www.uhmn.com). It's a fairly new site and my friends who run it suggest that all applets should be under 370 pixels wide or the profiles will go out of alignment. Obviously the Flixster widgets fit in quite nicely.
You can also create a "boxx" on Tagged and add them there too. I added it to the "Wall" section on mine. I'm not sure about the others though as I barely use Tagworld.
I also think there may be a way to get Flixster code onto MSN LiveSpaces. At the moment they have a "universal" media player that will allow YouTube videos etc. so it should allow an "embed" from other things as well. I'll try it and see.... ok... tried it and it doesn't but that's the place to tailor the code for. I've only just set my profile up there so I'm not exactly going to be a regular a user of LiveSpaces by any stretch of the imagination. It's all a bit too fiddly.
The applets do work in the blogs on LiveSpaces though. If you look at my LiveSpaces page (http://drbloodsvideovault.spaces.live.com) you can see that I have the recent reviews in the blog. To do the same thing to your own, just select "HTML" when entering the blog and paste the code in.
I am here to voice my opinion on how Flixster should not be posted all of over the Internet, its not because of my grudge against Drblood, its due to the fact that flixster is gaining way to many people who come and make 12 to 20 accounts making things really complicated for the Moderators to handle, so do not post flixster all over the Internet make so you can acess it if you come directly to the site

Obviously it is because of a grudge against me for some reason. I have flagged and reported you again for harassment as you have no reason to be responding to my post here whatsoever.
Im just letting Flixster know that is my own personal opinion on the matter, letting them see that its not because of the disagreement we had, and no action will be taken against me
Well I'm not going to bother getting into any discussion with you on here again. This is my final message to you. I don't waste my time arguing with children. Now find someone else to bug because I have better things to do.
I just tried the Flixster widgets on AIM Pages too and they work perfectly in the "Custom HTML" section. It's much the same as Hi5 from what I can tell but with a slightly more quirky editing interface.
The phpfox sites such as FriendWise and LetsHangOut are a bit hit and miss though depending on how they are set up. A lot of them need "bb code" rather than html.
So maybe a bulletin board version of the Flixster widget code could be useful for a lot of people.
Ok, so I set up Flixter originally on Facebook. I now have a MySpace Account and would like to link them together like I did on iLike. I linked the iLike.com account with facebook and then linked iLike with myspace. Is this possible for Flixter as well?

In the Facebook app, I'd like flixster to add some functionality where you can rank MCT-compatibility of friends from the highest score down (or even the worst score up). Not just have 8 randoms listed. Is it possible?
I've recently started using FriendFeed which is a great site that sort of pulls from a bunch of social networking sites as well as RSS feeds. Is there an RSS feed for Flixster? I think it would probably be best used for the Reviews section of the profile. That way I can share any reviews I post.
Xanga! - On Social Media, I think it would be good if Flixster started expanding. I mean, sure partner up and create apps n stuff for those SN sites to reach out to more people, but yall still gotta prioritize this site above everything else.
The app on FB is kewl, but.. some people on here prefer staying there now insteada here.
Theres a couple of ideas flixster can use from some of those websites, Bolt (the original from the 90s, not the ver2 and the icky flapp one now) had some cool things that they offered their users, n this was before people were aware of what social networking was. If flix can integrate some of those ideas to the site, that would make people go here more, and itll make flix stand out from other movie sites.
