I think that many people here in flixster have'nt seen "The Shawshank Redemption".I believe that this film is the best story ever told on film.It is a simple film, yet it has an everlasting message. If I was forced to just see one movie ever again in my life, this would be it. I haven't said anything about the story, wich isn't necesary since either you have seen it, or you will see it and then you will know what I mean.Thoroughly recommended to everyone.
And if i have to choose my fav Actor it will be non another than the great legend Clint Eastwood,He is my fav Director too...
I can't explain why I am in love with this story. I think it is because of the "What if's." What if Jareth really loved Sarah? What if Sarah hadn't have remembered the right words in the end? I think it is because there could be endless possibilities that I love this movie so much. YES, some of the music is corny, but it is also good fun. Who can beat a script written by Terry Jones and directed by Jim Henson?
